Oh and the two feet is somewhere for the rocks and seaweed to gather and block the return drain holes, and wait till you see what DBC has planned and actual cost for the light panels. It's a test panel, common for casting large concrete areas. (Doesn't look a particularly successful one so hopefully they'll refine areas when casting the permanent sections)
Dirty Buggane
They are not going to change the shape of what you see, and as for it being a test panel it was more likely that it was just for the DOI to see what it was actually going to look like. All the moulds have neen fabricated and delivered and are sitting on a trailer at the compound on the prom, looks like they are going to pour around 30 mtrs(98' 4 7/8") in one pour which makes sense your not going to want to hand mix and wheel barrow for this. 😁

Given it has a front, and back, aren’t side and end synonymous in this case?
Dirty Buggane
What about the start end as well as the end end, if we are being pedantic is this not just one facit in the middle of the stretch of the above wall.
Two-lane
This is a side view of the construction a little further north than the War Memorial. And this is a side view of the sea wall adjoining the constructions site. The photo does not show how steep the pebble slope is, but it does show that the beach has covered the re-curve on the existing wall. After digging the beach down a few months ago; they then piled it back up to allow an easy access platform to the prom for wall build. It had me confused initially when I saw it. I'm assuming they will then dig it back down again once the wall is finished. Then periodically dig it up and down again to look busy and charge some more to the DOI. When Skies are Grey V2
Ever think of doing this when the prom was....you know...being done up?

I'm convinced that Kim Jung Un is the only one taking this seriously and is the reason he keeps firing missiles into the sea of Japan. Have you also ever considered how long G's legs must be to be able to wade like that in the deep ocean?
Two-lane
This photo was taken from the north of the construction site, looking south. You can see where a digger has moved pebbles so that a platform level with the walkway has been constructed. My earlier photo was taken just south of the construction site, and looking south. The build-up of the beach against the sea wall in that photo was created only by nature.
