The cost of the sea wall that is being built currently has doubled due to materials and Labour it is now over £100,000. Then there are photos showing how wonderful it will be it hasn’t been received very well judging by the comments. Well worth a look and for once no heads have been cut off. Are you sure you have the correct figures there...

The problem is unless something is done, the town will be more frequently inundated. That's not good for business nor investment and may already be holding back development of some of the derelict sites. They've made a lovely job of Castletown and the reinvestment is there to be seen. So many good opportunities missed for Ramsey. Its a great town and deserves better. 1

I'm sure the ironic nod towards the amount of CO2 produced by the new Brutalist Barrier would be lost on few. Two-lane
This is a side-on view of The Wall. The block, and therefore the re-curve (or whatever it is called), is set a couple of feet back from the vertical sea wall. How is this going to work? But what do I know? I don't even get invited to Tynwald ceremonies.

That is a side view of the sample section. 1
Dirty Buggane
The return on the original sea wall is a calculated arc to work in conjunction with the angle of the sea wall, the shape you are looking at bears no resemblance to this and is just a shape put there to look pretty. Oh and the two feet is somewhere for the rocks and seaweed to gather and block the return drain holes, and wait till you see what DBC has planned and actual cost for the light panels.
