Since Kamala Harris became VP, she has been on the receiving end of vitriol from racists, misogynists and other extremists.

Personally, I was impressed how she pinned the blame on Trump for Supreme Court overturning Roe v. Wade. Before becoming a politician, she spent years as a prosecutor – hopefully, this experience will become useful when dealing with Trump’s lies, may she succeed where others have failed.

America is too full of racists, misogynists and other extremists for her to win, though. Maybe if she had half a chance of uniting the left-leaning vote she'd be plausible, but she doesn't.

She has got no chance of winning...they really need someone at the Michelle Obama level...otherwise Trump will be a shoe-in.

"America is too full of racists, misogynists and other extremists" - agree, the Republican Party is, but this presidential election will be decided by Independents in swing states...the Democrats have it all to play for.

Prosecuting African Americans needlessly for possessing small amounts of weed, in order to stat pad and build her career.

Not that it matters really, but the American media will obsess over her skin colour for the next few months (whether the eventual nominee or not). So I feel obliged to mention that she is of Indian heritage, rather than being descended from an African slave brought to he US. Apparently an important distinction to many Americans.

She'll unite more of the left than Trump will the right. There are plenty of very moderate republicans who do have reservations, due to the "Trump is a fascist/rapist/dictator/Hitler/satan" claims from the left, aswell as his overall brash attitude. And there are many on the right that feel he's "a zionist shill" for not being radical enough on the lgbt/blacks/hispanics.

All she or any other democrat has to do, is say yes to open borders and show support for abortion, maybe something about the environment. Possibly a good counterpoint considering the emphasis in Trumps speech about getting the US coal and gas pumping again from day one.

I wonder if Republicans are starting to regret the Supreme Court granting immunity against prosecution for Presidents actions during their time in office?

Wouldn't it be fun if Biden's last act as President was to declare Trump an enemy of the state and have him arrested and imprisoned without right of appeal.  Biden would have been acting in an official capacity as President and would therefore be protected by that ruling.

It would probably trigger a second civil war so maybe not that much fun.
