How many services were cancelled today

I’m not arguing with the forum idiot. That’s the news report and that’s an actual picture of a “private hire” shuttle they could man this afternoon for classic car fans. So knock yourself out being the forum wally for another few hours.

Yes, it's even worse than that. They're not even sure how many will be cancelled.

Just what you want for a scheduled public transport service - it might turn up. They may as well cancel the fucker and save on the overtime and fuel, cos nobody is going to bother to wait for a bus that may or more likely may not turn up.

Here is a bit of news  for you.

What they do is publish a list of POTENTIAL cancellations at the start of the day or weekend so idiots on social media don’t complain when their bus is not there.

In reality, most of those services will actually operate because they play it safe because of social media.

So I ask again.  How many services were cancelled this weekend?

It really does beggar belief that they're still running private hires.

Someone high up in that department needs sacking pronto.

There were two double deckers for at least 2 hours. Fully staffed. All marked “Private Hire” and dropping off at the Park Hotel carpark so people could see the line up on the prom.

We've no Idea, because instead of admitting to it , they try and save face by saying a service is "at risk" meaning they haven't got anyone to drive it.

Even when they are asked directly they lie. Remember being told there were no bus cancellations in TT week last year? Turns out there were loads but they thought they'd lie their way out of it.
