Which ultimately is where it will be going and they will have no compunction about draining it.

Everything else is being subjected to cut backs except the Great Unassailable, which would indicate that funding for that is being prioritised, to include covering the £40M pa funding gap from contributions.

There is no limit to the cynicism of Govt, it was shown previously when they pillaged funds from other liquid schemes in order to fund their own.

I don't know why people keep calling it a Ponzi scheme. It's far worse than that.
