Show Them Pearly Whites

Never used to be...

Nah, great whites have always been off NZ, in fact they have quite a wide range you even get a load of them in the Mediterranean.

Due to shifting currents and climate change, plankton sources are moving, followed by larger and larger predators, which is why we have seen an increased number of Mako sharks (actually more vicious than GW's) off the British Isles. It will only be a matter of time before larger predators follow the food chain to the British Coast.

Chances of being killed are pretty slim though. You better be even more scared of bees or lightning storms if you are that worried. ;)

i was aware of sharks in the area, just great whites were never really the main ones, only ever heard about them every so many years, but lately, there seems to have been an increase in sightings, maybe they are getting braver (although, how much braver they need to be i don't know!!) and coming inland more.........................here's another one.....................
