Amadeus
Yep, nice piccies Amadeus, especially of the health & safety aware teddy! Hey - I've got front row seats - would be rude not to Plus, I think I've got some sort of fascination for that building - must come from spending too much time next to it, or something... Some more from yesterday: Some people in the office were a bit nervous yesterday, watching big chunks of debris parking themselves next to their cars Full credit to the operator of that big machine, though - destroying stuff is really an art at times.. A clip from saturday on Youtube A shorter one from the more delicate phase of the operation yesterday: Court.wmv All credit to the Developer, it will be a night mare site to work on! Three carriageways around the building on a slope situated in the middle of the legal / financial district (they wont want any noise when the pile driving starts) and such limited access to the site - and then to have to work around retaining the facade... impressive work. According to this article, it's a company called Casino Ltd - one of the chaps on site mentioned something that they run leisure centres in the UK, although no-one seems to know details. Oh - and it could get a bit loud soon - they'll be driving loads of piles into the ground next to it for the underground car park, so expect a steady "bang" noise coming through an office window near you, soon. Gladys
Great video clips Amadeus. I take it you work from a tent on the top floor of Shaw's Brow car park?
