learned friend
Good news and bad news. He was taken off the police pay roll as soon as he was sentenced to imprisonment but he will only serve 3 months as sentences under one year are automatically halved. mollag
No one seems shocked about this heinous crime. That is quite a worry, do we expect the police to be bent? the likening to other recent scandals would indicate we tolerate these things from all public sectors - quite a disgrace really. Its more a case of gallows humour and irony, i personaly am not shocked to find that policeman can have feet of clay, too many have preceeded this guy, but i dont for a moment believe that all coppers are bent, i just lurve the chance to give them stick. Don't know about the 500k thing, but I guess such a sum would require more "criminal energy" as well as different motives, etc..oh, and you'd need a big house to secure that amount against...
