Jacobs, an independent filmmaker from Miami, recently paid $100,000 for a virtual "space resort" in the online role-playing game "Project Entropia," a virtual universe with a real cash economy. Full Article Err..$100k for something that doesn't physically exist? I think these online role-playing games now have me finally confused - what's so great about it that you would pay 100k? I'm actually researching this for my final year work, and if you can wait a couple of months, I'll post up my dissertation that I'm currently writing on Virtual Economics.
