TerryMcCann
The cynic in me would suggest another month or so yet. They may as well tie in the launch with TT2005.
Ean
I'd have thought they'd have wanted to get it out before TT week, to avoid being overshadowed in TT coverage and so that it can be on sale for the bikers when they come over.
Rich
Copied from IOMTT.com New PS2 TT-Superbikes Game: Release Date 1 Week Later Jester Interactive Publishing, creators of PS2 games, and Duke Marketing, the powersport specialists, today announce that the “TT Superbikes” PlayStation 2 game release date for UK & Ireland has been moved from 22 April to 29 April 2005. Clark Evans, Director of Jester, said: “Once again we apologise for this short delay, which is due to the unexpected demise of our UK distributor Big Ben and the time taken to establish Duke as the new supplier for the UK. One additional week is needed for Duke to take over the UK retail orders; ensuring stock is delivered to all retailers on the same release date, which will now be the 29th April. Peter Duke commented: “We have been in discussion with the major retailers who are sympathetic to our being appointed as distributor at very short notice. We are anxious to ensure sufficient stock is ready for the release date and this proved to be impossible for April 22nd due to the high level of initial demand. After up to a year of anticipation another week is a small price to pay to ensure that all UK retailers receive stock at the same time.” TT Superbikes for PlayStation 2 (SRP £34.99) is now released on 29 April 2005 and is available from leading outlets or direct from Duke Video: tel 01624 640000, fax 01624 640001 or email mail@dukevideo.com. germann
Judging from their lack of resposes thus far it's either a case of them not being able to put the game down, or they're all camped outside Duke Marketing waiting for a refund...
jim
not seen it myself yet, but I was talking to someone yesterday who had it and they said it was fantastic but a bit difficult to get the hang of.
modey
i got this game yesterday and haven't been able to put it down. brilliant! The only downside is that you cannot go straight into racing the complete tt circuit. you have to start at the southern hundred course, win events in that to unlock further events. You can play the tt circuit in stages and the graphics are very impressive. controlling the bike does take some getting used to, but all in all i'd say it's well worth the wait

Great that it's out just before a bank holiday weekend too! Stav.
