Amadeus Posted December 2, 2005 Share Posted December 2, 2005 This one is making headlines back home at the moment: The Church youth in the parish of Katzwang near Nuremberg has brought out a new bible calender. Instead of just putting any old pictures in it, they decided to recreate scenes from the bible, shoot most of it in a church and also went for the nude option: Cover picture and a scene from the calender ("Samson and Delila") All seems to be done in a tasteful way, and I think it's a brilliant idea. Needless to say that they have been pelted with positive and negative feedback, but I can't find anything negative about it. The only depiction of Eva I remember in any church book is with a fig leave covering her modesty, and that's one of the pictures they recreated.
