Could Iom Fire Service Cope With A Conflagration?

Following on from the fire at the fuel depot in Hemel Hempstead what would the situation be if there were a conflagration at say the Manx Petroleums depot at the end of the breakwater?

Do the IOM Fire Service have adequate resources on the Island to be able to deal with such an incident?

Is the water supply to the site adequate?

Do they have enought foam solution, foam dispensers?

Do they have enough money to train for such an incident?

What other concerns are there?

an on MR they just commented that looking at the pictures of Hemel Mepstead is like looking at a nuclear explosion!!!

how much collateral damage will be caused if Manx Petroleums ever goesup?? the Lifeboat will be a goner for sure...

will the Fire Service have to use lager from the brewery to make the foam?? does the brewery have enough??

Didn't someone mention in another thread that the storage tanks over here have some sort of built-in feature to prevent them catching fire?

...think it was a guy who works for Total in Peel...claimed the tanks there have some way of automatically filling with foam...but makes you wonder..'cos the Buncefiled depot is a Total site...and now a total mess...
