The capacitor used to start the motor (if it of that tyupe) can fail with a bang and even the high pressure output from the compressor can fail if there is a flaw in the pipework. With an inflamable gas load, as is becoming more common in industrial models, a spark could then ignite the gas released. One after the other as the building fell. Almost like FDNY Captain Dennis Tardio, speaking of the south tower, said: "I hear an explosion and I look up. To my knowledge there is no mention, regarding the towers' air conditioning systems exploding, in any source i've ever came across. For instance, try google... fuck all comes up. I believe that the first fire officers on the scene would have shut the building's air conditioning system off on the basis that it would only help the fires spread. Something which they failed to do at the scene of the former twin towers bombing. Oh, and I'm sure exploding air conditioners wouldn't have created the resonant boom boom booms heard from 80 floors down. Even if per chance, they exploded in synch, floor by floor. Note: These boom boom booms were picked up by seismograph. Anyways, lets look at previous tyrannical acts attempted by the US Government. OKC failed miserably so you don't have to be a 'conspiracy theorist' to spot the many holes in the cover-up that followed.
