TheTool
Haha nice one jim. Well Enforcer if the majority travel less than 70 mph why even bother putting a limit on the mountain, they have been quietly bringingin there limits all over the island which i guess is good seeing as the island population is growing but why bother on the mountain. Just another exercise is wasting tax payers money. Most accidents happen at 70mph and below over here, they need to enforce the people doing 40mph to 50mph in a 30mph zone thats where the real danger is. They could never enforce the speed limit anyway and i think if they put cameras up there people would only vandilise them, it would give people a bit of fun
Rock
if "most people" drive below 70 over the mountain, and "most accidents" happen at 70 and below, then there really isn't a problem with a 70 limit, is there ?
TheTool
Rock i think you are right there m8, most people realise that they naturally go at the spped they think is safe for them which usually is 50mph to 70 mph. Look at the UK a lot of accidents on the motorways are caused by slower drivers pulling out into a on coming car that is going faster. The cannot police it the police even said that.
