Beckett
Has anyone heard anything more on the Isle of Man Branding Project? I've not seen any of the shortlisted brands (which is a bit frustrating), the website hasn't been updated for yonks (by the look of things) and there's been very little coverage of late. It sounds like it'll be a 'this is it, like it or lump it' situation.
TheTool
Well to be honest with you all that is needed to Brand the isle of man is a good advertising company. This bollocks is taking so long and all they are doing is creating a logo. Money for nothing, an exercise in how to waste money
Beckett
In fairness branding is much more than a logo. They just need to make sure they have the money and political will and commitment to implement it. The lack of the later is where the waste of money factor is likely to creep in. manxchatterbox
for those doing the exercise the £500,000 pay day is getting closer.....how much will then be spent/wasted on attempting to implement the strategy...
Beckett
Spookily enough there's an update in the Examiner. Apart from the 700 people they've surveyed on the short-listed 'brands' we don't get a peak until Tynwald has seen it in March. Although I presume they mean CoMin, not Tynwald. TheTool
Maybe we should have an inqury into the whole branding thing. The isle of man must be good at them by now
