manxchatterbox
Douglas Corpy have, at vast ratepayers expense, put up new signs in Summerhill Glen to reinforce the point that dogs are banned....has anyone told the Corpy dogs can't read!! what does the Corpy Enforcement Officer do? surely a job for enforcement and a prosecution as an example of an owner taking a dog in would serve the purpose... Even compared to the usual tripe that you put up here, this is the most pointless post you have ever made. Quite an achievement.
manxchatterbox
yeah but no but it would be nice not to have to even think about stepping in dog shit when I walk down thro the Glen just cos some dog owners can't be bothered to take something to collect the excrement in...evevn better would be to make it a fixed penalty £80 offence to be out walking a dog and not able to produce a plasic bag recepticle when challenged to do so....more enforcement...less sitting behind the desk....like when did anyone ever see the enforcement officer taking action?? just what value do ratepayers get for the £30grand a year job???
